As a Registered Dietitian and experienced Food Service Expert, VaughnI marries his passion for nutrition and health with solid leadership in the food service industry. With over 20 years of experience in food service settings and a challenging clinical-focused dietetic internship, he has honed his skills in the Nutrition Care Process, menu planning, food service management, and team leadership. Vaughn specializes in creating and educating nutritionally balanced, delicious, and innovative menus for diverse populations, from hospital patients and long-term care facilities to corporate dining facilities. He is adept at managing dietary needs for a variety of health conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and food allergies. In his role as an Operations Manager, Vaughn has led teams of up to 300 members, overseeing all aspects of food service operations, including budgeting, staff interviewing, hiring, training, education and development, and quality control. He is known for improving operational efficiency, managing and analyzing P/L and KPIs, increasing customer satisfaction, and ensuring health and safety regulations compliance. His mission is to integrate nutrition science and cultural skills to nourish and delight while promoting healthy living. Vaughn looks forward to continuing to serve his community, as I have experience working with over 20 community organizations.
