Sonja Jorgensen, MHA, NHA

Sonja is the Pearl’s Administrator and has a bachelors in Political Science and Environmental studies, as well as a Master’s in Health Services Administration. During her time in college, she worked in maintenance in hospitals and nursing homes. Her favorite part about the job is getting to know residents, families, and staff on a personal level. She says there are so many wonderful stories and experiences to learn from them and such a rich history. What has led her in this career path is having many family members who worked in healthcare. She has now worked in the field for 20+ years. Sonja is an active member of the Florida Health Care Association, local health care coalition, and community relations committee for local area hospitals.
